This is very late in coming, but I wanted to formally acknowledge the fact that we are forever grateful for the images you capture for me and my family.  We love them and they adorn our walls!  We found that you were very professional in the way you conducted yourself and yet you put us all at ease.  The on-location shoot was a perfect choice and the casual and candid photos ended up being some of my favourites.  The traditional posed photos also turned out wonderfully.  It is quite an art to be able to get many (and I mean MANY) frame-worthy photos with a 6 month old and a 3 year old.  From the bottom of our hearts we thank you.

Every year at Brookstreet, all our partners get glammed up for the annual Gala. This year we had a New York theme which Darren’s camera was able to capture fabulously. It was a pleasure to work with Darren as he was readily available all night to get those great shots. He showcased the hotel beautifully and captured some real Kodak moments with our partners. Thank you Darren for all your hard work and for making us all look so good!

We hired Darren 12 months prior to our Wedding to capture some special photos that we could cherish and share with our friends and family. We looked through his online portfolio and while it was difficult to imagine what “our” photos would look like, we really liked what we saw. Darren was very eager and really took the time to get to know us and the time to integrate who we are and what passions we both share individually into consideration for the shoot. As he mentions in his summary, we had our session outdoors on an old steel railway bridge that crosses the Mississippi River. It really was a perfect backdrop. Darren makes you feel at ease and comfortable from the beginning and for someone like my fiancé (he doesn’t like posing for pictures) made our Engagement Session fun, interactive and to the point where we felt special and high profile. Our Wedding is not until October 2012, but after our Engagement Session this fall, we are 100% confident that our special day will be memorable and our photos will be artistic and something to be proud of.   Darren’s passion truly shines through in his work!

After seeing some of Darren’s wedding pictures of Jeff and Tracy, we knew we had to meet him. We checked out his website and loved that he took pictures in a non traditional kinda way. When we met with him he made us feel relaxed and he listened to what our ideas were and what we wanted for our special day. We loved the pictures he showed us and the different ideas he gave us of where to get shots taken and at what time of day and so forth. We ended up booking him for an engagement shoot/family shoot as well and it was lots of fun…well as fun as taken pictures with 2 kids under the age of 2 can be!  He never once rushed us on time, I don’t think he ever even looked at his watch. It just felt very relaxed as Remi and I were virgin’s to this whole photography shoot! The pictures speak for themselves especially the action shots of the kids. Life really is too short so having these pictures of our family makes me stop and take a minute and appreciate everything I have a little more often, and that to me is priceless. Cant wait for more memories to be made on our Wedding day!! Thanks Darren!

A note to say how much we appreciated you taking the time to capture a special time in our lives through the eye of your camera. Your talent in capturing the moment is exceptional. We saw some of Darren’s photos on the web and thought he was very talented.  We didn’t really have any shots specifically in mind, just wanted to take a walk through our beautiful town and let him decide. When he arrived and started talking about specific places to do our shoot, I was pleasantly surprised that he had taken the time to take a walk around before coming over. The whole experience was very relaxed and casual for us. It felt like we were just out for our usual weekend stroll through Almonte. We absolutely love the photos you took Darren and look forward to sharing them with our family and friends!
